Happy 2026!

My friend and I have a little game we like to play: How middle aged is your husband? It started when we were discussing the things our husbands are finding an interest in lately. Shoes with spikes on them to aerate the lawn, rain-meters, hats with wide brims and drawstrings to keep them from blowing away… you know, the usual (I guess.) 

But lately, I find myself playing that game with myself. I find myself saying cliche things that thirty-year-olds start saying - comfort is key, as long as you are comfortable, oh, that looks so comfy! 

Who even am I?

Well, this is my 2026 challenge, to create beautiful things, where comfort is key - but - without being aesthetically displeasing. 

I started today by creating a pattern for swimwear based on my favorite fit to date. The top is comfortable, and provides enough coverage to be comfortable, humble yet appealing. The bottoms cover the whole bottom, with an extra piece of coverage at the waist. 

Comfort and style - exactly what I’m going for!
